NeuraTiM Recordry
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
NeuraTiM Recordry does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive user data. There is no account, no backend server, and no analytics. Everything you create stays on your device, in an encrypted database. This policy sets that out in full, and covers this website separately at the end.
Data the app collects
None. NeuraTiM Recordry has no account system, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no advertising or analytics SDKs of any kind. The developer has no access to anything you enter and no ability to obtain it.
The templates you design, the records you fill in, their revision history, and your settings are written only to storage private to the app on your own device.
How your data is stored
On Android, iOS and macOS, your templates and records are stored in a SQLite database encrypted with SQLCipher using AES-256. The encryption key is generated by the operating system's cryptographically secure random number generator and stored in the platform keystore — the Android Keystore or the iOS and macOS Keychain. It is never derived from a device identifier, never written into a backup, and never logged.
Encryption at rest protects the database file if the device is lost, stolen, or its storage is read directly. It does not protect against an attacker who has full control of a running operating system, and the app does not claim otherwise.
Your theme, language and mode preferences are stored unencrypted, because they have to be readable before the database is opened in order to decide how the app renders.
Fields marked sensitive
A template author can mark a field as sensitive. Values in such fields are masked while being entered, excluded from automatically generated record titles, left out of search, and omitted from exports by default. They are also excluded from the database's auxiliary value indexes, so the value cannot be recovered from an index that exists only to make searching faster.
Network access
The app makes no network requests. It has no server component, and its Android release build does not declare the INTERNET permission, so the operating system itself will refuse any attempt to open a connection.
Permissions
Recordry asks for a platform permission only when a feature needs it. Camera or photo access is used for photo fields and barcode scanning; notification permission is requested when the first reminder is set. File selection uses the operating system picker. Refusing a permission leaves the rest of the app available, and no selected content is sent to a Recordry server.
The browser demo
A demo build runs at recordry-app.neuratim.com so the app can be tried without installing it. It is the same application compiled for the browser, but its database is held in the memory of the browser tab only.
Nothing you enter in the demo is written to disk, transmitted anywhere, or retained after you reload or close the page. It is also not encrypted, because there is no stored copy to encrypt.
Children's privacy
The app collects no data from anyone, of any age. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no external links other than to this policy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new date at the top. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be a clarification rather than a new use of your data.

This English presentation site is a set of static files. It sets no cookies, embeds no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which — like any web host — processes the request itself, including your IP address, in order to serve the page and to protect against abuse. That happens at the infrastructure level and is not accessible to the developer as site analytics.
